📚 Local Bookstores in Attendance

Support indie shops and explore curated selections!

• bundok books – A mountain of inclusivity in the boondocks. Featuring new books for all age groups--from baby to adult--about nature, history, and activities in the local western Washington mountains, as well as books on Filipino culture. We also highlight local, lesser-known, and underrepresented authors and stories.

• Peruse the Stacks – Peruse the Stacks sells all manner of rare and collectible books and ephemera. Our store is exclusively online, but we sell at regional book fairs, have a booth at Pacific Antiques Mall in Tacoma, and allow in-person shopping by appointment. Our specialties include Children’s Literature, Genre Fiction, Occult/Esoterica, Western Americana, and Book Arts.

• Walls of Books – We have two quaint bookstores and a bookmobile. We love serving the book loving communities.

• Dough Line (@dough.line): Dough Line crafts unique brioche style donuts inspired by classic flavors.

• Family Blend: A celebration of Filipino and Vietnamese cultures, Family Blend combines unique flavors in cold brew and matcha to honor their heritage and the spirit of togetherness.

• Auntie's Family Kitchen: Auntie’s Family Kitchen is a sibling-run food business serving up Filipino and Hawaiian-inspired comfort foods with a homemade touch. Rooted in family traditions and local community, we bring bold flavors, island warmth, and plenty of heart to every dish.

Schedule of Events

🕞 2:00--3:00PM: Book Character Cosplay Contest Show off your book fandom: come dressed to impress in a bookish cosplay! Contestants will compete for an epic prize. Guest judges will be local cosplay legends Becky (@beckybooksandbeads) and Lindsay (@linzyloo18).

🕞 3:30–4:30 PM: Performance by Nicola Linde With a voice that ranges from whisper to roar, Nicola Linde brings powerful pop/rock energy spanning decades of hits.

🕓 3:30–4:30 PM: Vendor Intermission A rare tabling break for vendors to relax, network, and shop the event from the other side of the booth.

🕟5:00--6:00 PM: “Mythology Mavens” Author Panel Moderated by Gem Schaudies (bundok books) and Alexa Shay (The Shield)
