It's in the cards: Spring Break Book Fair, hosted by Bundok Books, is back for 2026! Let's celebrate spring with the local authors we love. This year will be tarot-themed: think of being on spring break and getting a tarot reading on impulse, just to see what your vacation has in store for you! Authors & vendors have all picked tarot cards that best fit the vibe of themselves and/or their product for a fun shopping experience. Come dressed up for our Tarot Cosplay and win a prize! This is a FREE event featuring local authors, bookish vendors, food & drink, an author panel, live music, and more. We look forward to seeing you!

Highlights & Performances

  • YA Author Panel (1-2PM): Local authors featuring a range of reading interests including fantasy, thriller, action-adventure, and pirates! We will have a moderated panel discussion about the genre before opening it up to audience Q&A.

  • Live Music by Nicola Linde (2:30-3:30PM): Enjoy an intimate performance during the event's halftime by singer-songwriter Nicola Linde.
     

  • Tarot Costume Contest (5-6PM): Dress to impress! Wear your best outfit inspired by a tarot card for a chance to win a prize in our themed costume contest. This is a great way to end the event on a fun note!

Tarot & Mysticism

  • "Flash Tarot" Readings: Need quick insight? Get a fast-paced reading on a sliding scale ($5–$25). These sessions aren't just for advice—your reader can help you identify which vendor booths "vibe" best with the cards you pulled! It's a fun way to get some "speed reading" in!

  • Tarot Deck Swap: Have a deck that doesn't resonate with you anymore? Bring it to our free swap and find a new one that does.

  • Tarot-Categorized Vendors: Explore our vendor list, uniquely organized by Tarot cards to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. A map of table assignments will be available on-site.

Community & Giving

  • Free Book Swap: Bring a book, take a book! A perfect chance to refresh your personal library for free.

  • Support the Transparent Closet: Learn how you can donate to the Transparent Closet, a local boutique providing free, gender-affirming clothing and accessories to trans, non-binary, and gender-exploring teens and adults.

 

Note: This is a FREE EVENT! No tickets are required to attend and enjoy the atmosphere.

Tarot Card Readings!

Tarot readings by Opulent Witch.  Kiki is a practicing witch in traditional magic, multi-media artist, tarot reader, and psychic medium. She started building their professional healing practice in 2014. A multi-disciplinary artist and dancer and their intention is to embody and channel the divine through their creations. Kiki lives on occupied Duwamish land, also known as Seattle. Their altar is centered in sovereignty, courage, heart-truth and compassion. Kiki's work in the world involves brining healing and support to community through magical work and transformation through creative modalities, embodiment and ritual.

Singer Song Writer Nicola Linde

With a whisper-to-a-scream voice and anthemic compositions, Nicola Linde is a powerful performer and songwriter. Her acoustic pop/rock repertoire of cover songs span the 60s, 70, 80s, 90s, and some 2000s, will make you want to lend your voice to the chorus. Each set is tailored to her audience, making every show unique in its own way. Originally from Victoria, BC, Canada, Nicola Linde has opened for Juno Award winners, certified Platinum selling bands, Top 40 artists and Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductees.
